WAGOH (Women After God’s Own Heart Conference)

WAGOH 2023 was a wonderful worship experience. In the last week of October, about 30 Hope Center women and teens joined our staff at the Sheffield Family Life Center for a time of fellowship, worship and encouragement. We were joyfully welcomed and given gift bags with prayer cards, a calendar of devotionals, sweet treats and more. The first night we were blessed with a message from Mrs. Lynda Randle about God’s unchanging love for us. We also enjoyed lots of laughs by way of Mrs. Lisa Mills as she graced the stage with her stand-up comedy segment.

The rest of the conference consisted of worship and messages from Lisa Mills, Pastor Randle and Mandisa. Mandisa’s testimony of God saving her mom and brother encouraged us to remember 1 Cor. 3:6 and God’s faithfulness. WAGOH gave our ladies an opportunity to connect with women from different places and to hear and share their stories. Both our staff and Hope Center women and teens left the conference feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with great anticipation for WAGOH 2024.
