Today

The Hope Center KC continues to provide quality programming, strengthen family ties, and offer diverse community outreach events.

In January 2025, The Hope Center KC will celebrate the Grand Opening of The Gathering KC, a program and event venue. Formerly the Annunciation Catholic Church, built in 1903, the building has been remodeled into a vibrant community space. Restored in collaboration with local preservation experts, the venue features a 43-foot vaulted ceiling, original woodwork, ornate windows, and stained glass—honoring its rich heritage while serving a renewed purpose.

As The Hope Center KC grows, it remains steadfast in its commitment to being a place where hope is not just a word, but a tangible force for positive change—where every individual who walks through its doors finds the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Kansas City's east side.
