Volunteer

As a volunteer at The Hope Center (THC), your effort will contribute toward reaching and developing urban youth into leaders in the classroom, in their community, and in the kingdom of God.

We invite you to invest your time, knowledge, and gifts into our youth, where relationships and experiences can greatly influencetheir lives.

Heart 4 Hope

Where inspiration meets impact! This elegant gala features an impressive silent auction, select dining, and powerful stories of transformation from our youth and families. Through your participation in this meaningful event, one becomes part of creating lasting change in Kansas City's East-side community. An evening where every moment celebrates the power of community and the promise of tomorrow.

Tour De Hope

One of Kansas City's favorite bike rides, Tour de Hope begins and ends at the Swope Park Pavilion. Riders pass many historic KC landmarks and enjoy our uniquely refreshing SAG stops. The event wraps up
with our beloved post-ride party featuring food, drinks, and live entertainment. Proceeds benefit

Hope Center KC First Annual Pickleball Tournament

Date:  Saturday, August 10, 2025
Location:  Chicken N Pickle – North Kansas City
Time:  9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Join us for a fun and competitive morning of pickleball while supporting youth, families, and community transformation on Kansas City’s East Side. Whether you’re an experienced player or just in it for the good vibes, this event is open to all skill levels.


Why Participate?

All proceeds go directly to support the Hope Center’s youth and family programs, including leadership development, mentorship, and educational enrichment.

This exciting event, scheduled for June 7th, 2025, represents more than just a day of competitive sport – it's an opportunity to be part of a transformative community initiative that brings together athletics, community engagement, and social impact. The First Annual Pickleball Tournament serves as a beacon of hope and renewal for the east side community, an area rich in history yet facing contemporary challenges. By participating, you're directly contributing to The Hope Center KC's vital programs that provide educational support, youth mentorship, community wellness initiatives, and economic empowerment opportunities to local residents.
